When the Chips Are Down: Finding God’s Goodness in the Middle of the Struggle

Updated: Jul 18

Bad news travels faster than good news, just scroll through your social media feed.

Try to see how much of it is positive information.

There's a pull in most of us to see and spread more negativity that advertisers bet on.

We do this to ourselves as well.

In our own lives, it's easy to magnify that one thing that went wrong and talk about it for days until it's this giant snowball that's blocking our view of all the goodness we're in today.

We can extinguish our own joy.

Rob ourselves of happy moments.

And even more dangerous,

⚠️divert ourselves from our destiny by zooming in on a few inconveniences while losing focus of the massive opportunities at hand.

"Life and death lie in the power of a tongue, and those who love to use it will eat its fruit."

What if we are going around creating doom and gloom (Death) with out mouths?

YES....Somebody has to say it! (I'm guilty of it too!)

God is good! Foget not his GOODness.

Abundant in nature.

God is love!

Pouring it out everywhere for a people HE has created.

Here's a February challenge.

It's not going to be easy, but it's necessary!

Let's keep switching off our mental lens every time it focuses on the wrong thing until it's second nature to see only GOODness.

Positive people live longer, happier lives

(I want to be one of them, do you?).

Have a blessed month!

P.S. When you can control your mind, the world becomes your oyster.

P.P.S. What healthy mind habits do you practice?
