Here's the challenge to us all (me included): Let's take the mundane out of the way we live and recognise EVERYTHING as an opportunity to bring forth our best. I'm reminded of the parable of Cain and Abel in Genesis 4: 4 . They both brought offerings before the Lord, there was no memo on the specifics of the offering, the differentiator was a heart and an attitude issue. Cain was mundane about his offering, whereas Abel took it as an opportunity to bring his best before God and his offering was "more pleasing to the Lord". This is us! Today! The way we live is an offering. The way we show up to work or to our businesses. The way we parent. The way we love on our spouses. The way we interact with our neighbors. We are living sacrifices. Offerings. Are we pleasing to the Lord?
"Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship."
