Create A Client Attraction System That Feels Authentic

Knowing your natural and authentic Founder Voice is just the beginning.

Next: Use Your Natural Voice To Sell Without Selling

These are the 3 steps to creating strategic media assets that not only attract but nurture your 'trust-relationship' with prospects.

Here's what we're going to stop doing:

  • 🚫 randomly coming up with last-minute post ideas

  • 🚫 starting with the thought "what do I want to say...?"

  • 🚫sharing popular quotes and classifying that as content marketing for Your business

  • 🚫 staring at a blank screen every "post day".

The goal is to create a predictable system for connecting with our prospects that is high-value and *S.E.E.Ds our future sales.

Step 1: Messaging 🎯

Based on the assumption that you Know Your Customer (KYC) and the problem you are solving for them in detail, create a folder where you collect their words i.e. how they describe their problem and reviews on your solution/product.

⚠️ Messaging 101: Don't make any assumptions.

If you don't have any clients yet, search online. For example:

  • Go to Amazon and search for the best sellers in your category. If you're in the investment and wealth creation space, go through the reviews of the most popular books. Focus on 5 stars (what the readers loved), 3 stars (where the authors missed the mark), and 1 stars (why the reader felt the book was an epic fail). This is also a great exercise for identifying gaps in the conversation, where you can insert your solution as the 1 and only.

  • Go to YouTube and search for the most-viewed videos in your niche. Read through the comments, paying attention to phrases that keep coming up. For example, if you're providing YouTube SEO services, note phrases like "I've been struggling to get 1,000 subscribers". This seems like an obvious thing, but when you're marketing, compare these headlines:

    • Headline 1: How to increase the number of people who subscribe to your channel. (search context)

    • Headline 2: Struggling to get 1,000 subscribers. This is how I went from 75 subscribers to 1,200 in 4 days. (messaging + search context + credibility)

We can agree which one will stop the scroll.

  • Go to Facebook groups where your prospects congregate. Study what they talk about. Look for consistent themes and how they talk about the problem.#MarketingGold

These are just a few places where you can understand the language of your prospective clients.

Use their words.

⚠️Pitfall: Don't use fancy or clever language in your marketing. As someone who loves to play with language, I've done this... please don't do it. In most cases all this does is confuse the prospect.

And I wish it wasn't true but....

"Confused minds don't buy." -marketing mantra

Step 2: Offer Alignment

This again will seem obvious but if you've been making the content mistakes I mentioned at the beginning, you've probably fallen into the category of creating content that leads nowhere.

I know I'm not the only one who's done this: A popular quote post with a CTA that sneaks in that you happen to sell something. Totally awkward!

The post must directly lead to what you're asking of the prospect in your CTA.

For example: I'm telling you in this article how to create marketing that sells, if I then mention my operations course at the end:

  1. The person who clicked on this article isn't looking for operations information.

  2. I haven't shown any proof that I am competent and credible in operations.

Your content should lead to your offer.

If you're S.E.E.Ding your sale in your marketing, it should be a total no-brainer but you must still say it again because common sense ironically is not common.

Let them know what you're offering.

This can be a hard sell or a soft sell. Switch it up to see what works best.

Step 3: Systematise Your Strategy

Use ChatGPT or your AI of preference to help you create a series of post concepts that logically lead your prospect to the point of conversion.

The first time you do this don't make it complicated.

Feed the AI your Founder's Voice, Messaging research, and Offer Alignment. Then prompt it to provides a series of posts that lead to a conversion conversation and the reason for that order.

AI Prompt:

"I am a [Founder's Voice] who serves [KYC] who use the following language to describe the problem that I solve for them: [messaging research]. My offer which is the CTA to my content is [product information]. Create a series of 5 posts that strategically speaks to this target client a selling without selling tone and provide the logic behind which posts come first and why. "

Tweak this prompt over time to match your buyers preferences, for example the series could have 4 posts that speak to the analytical buyer, the emotional/impulse buyer ...you get the point.

Marketing is never done. That's why McDonald's, 100 years later, is still marketing like they opened yesterday and need the world to know that they exist.

So, who are you to be relaxed about marketing your business?

Test. Test. Test.

Reflect on the marketing data to make smarter marketing choices.

If you improve by 0.5%. Every. Single.Time.

Your marketing will become dangerously good.

And that's a #Fact.

“Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank.” Proverbs 22:29

Let's get to work!

Blessings,
