Do you want to be great??? Learn to serve.

Serving doesn't come naturally to most of us 🤚🏾(I'm right here with you). We have to grow into it. Here are a few tips that I have been tweaking and trying along my journey:
✅ Identify your unique value add and share it. What are you well known for? What do people often come to you for? E.g. you're the sales guy/girl, you can teach just about anyone how to sell or you're the friend that is a super organizer. Begin to search out people who would benefit from your unique gift/skill. You will sharpen your skill and be of service.
✅Before you reach out to a potential client or potential partner, ask yourself, "how can I be of assistance to this person?" Maybe you know someone that would be a great resource to that person and can link them up. Maybe you know something that you have identified might be helpful to them or their business. Maybe you can see they're having a rough time and have an idea to bring some cheer into their day....This is how you build great relationships .
✅When you are asked to help, say YES and do it wholeheartedly. I know a lot of times being helpful just seems like a big inconvenience when you're busy. But my experience has always been that when I help someone I find I just helped myself a whole lot in the process. Every time I come into information that I would not have known if I had not agreed to help. We're in the Information Age! Get in the know.
